Tonights boxing: streams
Would be grateful for anyone to share a working link as the night progresses. Really fancy watching the Joyce/ Stiverne fight and the DeGale/Eubank Jr fight def worth a watch too. Just not worth £20...if it was £2 maybe!

Yeah agree with that Mace, the bloke doesn’t exactly make it easy to like him. Still think Eubanks a cunt though. Ideally they would’ve sparked each other.

I missed the fight and all the build up but just had a browse around and watched the pre-fight press conference. What a cunt Degale is, comes across as a right prick as usual whereas Eubank handled himself and came across very well. Pretty much the same story as Degale / Groves pre-fight.

Fucking hell. That was even worse than Mayweather vs Pacquio!
Waste of a score. EVERY undercard fight was better than that shite.
DeGales finished, and Eubanks not as good as he thinks he is.
Would love to see Eubanks in with GGG, the cunt would get absolutely battered.

Agreed goose, was a shit fight i thought and as you say between two average boxers. How that judge gave it 114-112 ?? Was never that close.

Re: Tonights boxing: streams
Two average middleweights on PPV? Bit of a rip off.
Eubank will demand world title shots but in reality isn’t at the top level.

DeGale has been done for a while, shame we never got to see him vs Groves at their peak.

Just on my way back home from the fight now. Wanted Degale to win massively but Eubank completely schooled him from start to finish. Degale hasn’t hit the hunger anymore and basically said after the fight he’ll retire in a round about way.

I don’t think there is a boxer I hate more than Eubank Jnr.

He is so full of himself. Such a wanker. I hope someone knocks him out.

Re: Tonights boxing: streams
That scoring was a joke. It can only be influenced by the need to suggest a close fight. I wanted DeGale to win, desperately so due to personal experiences with members of the Eubank family which cannot and do not need to be expanded on, but still there is no way on earth that he wasnt a mile behind by the middle of the fight and after that when he needed a knock out he simply didn't look capable of it an in fact appeared completely knackered.

I have no idea whether DeGale has officially announced his retirement yet tonight but he really ought to.

Re: Tonights boxing: streams
I thought Joyce, given a handful of fights, was ok. I think that's a pretty impressive record thus far. He looks both open to shots, and relentless. It will be interesting when he finds his level.

Groves looks a bit spacey tonight.

I think if Gale turns up tonight it could well be a stoppage, if not and if Eubank turns up, then it's Jr. That's why it's an intriguing fight.

Not sure about these interviews on the way into the ring.

Anyone else think that Groves is showing the effect of a few too many smacks to the head ?

Re: Tonights boxing: streams
Joyce didn’t really impress me at all. Some of the show boating was embarrassing. I guess it’s impressive where he is after 8 fights but he’s 33...from the heavyweight fights I’ve seen recently I can’t see him beating Whyte, Parker & Chisora or even Povetkin let alone one of the big 3.

Got 10/1 on DeGale stopping Eubanks on Betfair.

Incredible value.

That first round was just like Hagler v Hearns.... just a slow fat version....
